2. We train, counsel and encourage all our personnel to work in a responsible way with regard to environmental, health and safety issues.
   
3. We continually strive to minimize emission levels and improve the efficiency of our use of raw materials and energy.
   
4. We continually assess our activities, to identify and reduce health and safety risks.
   
5. Wherever possible, we analyse the environmental, health and safety impact on all new processes and products prior to their adoption or use.
   
6. We keep the authorities informed about our operations and their possible impact on the environment, health and safety.
   
7. We keep the public and other interest groups informed about our production operations and products and their impact on the environment, health and safety; we also respond to anxiety and concern expressed about these issues.
   
8. We provide our customers with advice on the safe use and disposal of our products.
   
9. We expect our sub-contractors and suppliers to follow these principles wherever possible.
   
10. We inform partners involved on technical transfer processes about the appropriate measures required to protect the environment and ensure health and safety.
